I haven’t really posted anything for a bit. The other day I pulled this CD out and put it on my MP3 player. For those who don’t know. Sonic CD was for the Sega CD and is regarded by some (including myself) as the best 2D Sonic game ever created. Due to its simple yet engaging plot (basically Sonic time travels and fights Metal Sonic and Doctor Robotnik), its amazing level design (each level has a different time period, Past, Present, and Good or Bad Futures), its great graphics and its amazing soundtrack (the Sega CD allowed for CD quality audio which was far superior to cartridge quality at the time [1993]). That’s the main reason I posted this track. It’s from my favorite level in the game. Stardust Speedway Act 3 Bad Future (Each time period also had its own music). This level involves a Boss Fight with Sonic in a race across a long level against Dr. Robotniks ultimate creation. Metal Sonic. Enjoy :)
We've got to make it real
I think about this OST all the time. Say what you will, but this and alot of of similar sounding music from games that used them had a huge influence on me.
